ABOUT US

Simone

Simone grew up in a small village in Switzerland (north of Berne). Even as a child she was always surrounded by animals, especially dogs. In 2008 a fluffy fur ball, the pyrenean shepherd Nielo, joined her life and accompanies her ever since. They trained many years intensively together and graduated 2013 as an earthquake-search-and-rescue-team. One year later Simone went on a 5 day sled dog trip in Finnish Lapland, at that time only as a guest. It didn´t take her a long time to reach a decision after the tour – there must be more of this indescribable feeling in her life. In autumn, some months later, she and Nielo traveled north again and started to train and work as a sled dog guide, well Simone that is. This is also when and where she met Andy...

Andreas

Andy grew up in a small village, which contains only of a few houses, near the district border Sachsen-Anhalt. Animals and nature in general were a huge part of his world since childhood. Even as a grownup these two elements influenced all his vacations and travel projects. Scandinavia got to be some kind of «internal home» for him and after a semester abroad (Linköping, Sweden) followed the first winter in the north of Sweden with sled dogs. One winter later he got a job offer as a sled dog guide in north Finland, where, two years later, he got to meet Simone…

Since then we live our mutual dream. After some years in Finnish Lapland it´s time to take a step into the future – an own sled dog project, whose origination and development we would like to share with you.
