Chinook joined us as a puppy in 2023 and grew up alongside his “big brother” Logan. While Logan was an early bloomer, our sweet, floppy-eared black pup took his time: puberty came later, and so did his growth spurt – but it was well worth the wait.
Today, Chinook is a graceful, long-legged runner with an athletic build – yet he’s never lost the carefree charm of a puppy. With his gentle nature, he’s not only captured our hearts but also lovingly supported little Akoya as a kind and patient “kindergarten teacher.”
And Chinook’s special talent? Cuddling. He’s the world’s best snuggler – tender, affectionate, and always ready to share love and warmth. A dog you can’t help but fall in love with.
Date of Birth: August 13, 2023
Name Origin: Wind in the Rocky Mountains
The name Chinook comes from the language of Indigenous peoples of North America and refers to a warm, dry wind that sweeps down the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. This wind not only brings mild temperatures but also symbolizes movement, ease, and change.
