Lava joined us in March 2022 together with her brother Saphir – and has proven herself to be a true powerhouse ever since. With her muscular build, she resembles a male more than a female, making her an impressive presence in the sled team. Together with Saphir, she forms a perfect wheel dog duo: strong, enduring, and absolutely reliable. No snow is too deep, no climb too steep – when Lava pulls the sled, she does it with full determination and power.
She also makes herself heard: Alongside Teeri and Saphir, she’s part of the core of our husky-style howling choir. Whether it’s a greeting, excitement, or pure joy – Lava ensures the pack is never completely quiet.
