In the summer of 2024, Akoya joined our pack as a lively puppy and has enriched our family ever since. After Skadi, he is the first of our dogs to bring a touch of color into our canine family – with his unique coat, he draws everyone’s attention.

Even now, he’s a curious and diligent companion on our adventures in nature: whether we’re gathering berries and mushrooms or going on short hikes, Akoya has already experienced the full variety of summer and autumn. During the winter, he was also able to gain his first sledding experience through short training sessions, offering him a first glimpse into the life of a sled dog. Like everything in his life, he approached this new experience with great enthusiasm and curiosity, and he can hardly wait to get started for real this coming autumn. He still needs to be a bit patient, but his promising talent and tireless energy already suggest that he will become an important part of the team next year.
